If you’ve been wondering what the hell this True20 thing that I’ve been talking about is, some downloads went live today that can help you out. If you go to http://www.true20.com/support, you can download free Quick Start Rules for the game and an adventure to go with them. These two files are enough to let you try the game out and the scenario includes pre-generated characters. The adventure is Death in Freeport, something I wrote just about six years ago that has had a much longer life than I could have imagined at the time.
