					<description><![CDATA[Distant Mirror FTW.  :)  Heh, that is the one history book (as opposed to history dramatization or historical fiction) that really made the subject matter come alive for me.  I&#039;ve read the Gies&#039; umpteen books, William Davis, HW Kaufmann, Marjorie Rowling, Eileen Power, Christopher Dyer, Phillip Warner, et al.  Tuchman is the best of the lot.]]></description>
