Ah yes, a bus ride infamous to this day! I have my own memories of bleary-eyed early morning arrivals in London in the early/mid 80s. At least the buses are more comfortable now, as I learned only a few weeks ago. 🙂

I spent a couple of months backpacking around Europe with my girlfriend and another friend of ours. We began the trip with the week in Scotland. Then took a dreadful overnight bus to London, stayed there a few days, and then winged over to the Continent to Eurail about.
